Worked for the fragrance house Roure-Bertrand-Dupont; e.g. created Fracus for Robert Piguet in 1948, Balmain Jolie Madame in 1953, Balmain Monsieur Balmain in 1964, and Nina Ricci Coeur-Joie in 1946. Created by Germaine Cellier of Roure; a crisp woody oriental chypre parfum with top notes of gardenia, artemisia, neroli, bergamot and coriander with heart notes of jasmine, jonquil, orris and rose. Base notes of patchouli, castoreum, moss and leather, classified D7f. Presented in a simple square modernistic bottle originally designed by Pierre Balmain in 1947, on the base there is the ‘S G D’, the trademark for the Saint Gobain Desjonqueres glassworks.
