The
encyclopedia is organised into volumes, as in the
bookcase on the front page. Each volume has several chapters
and each chapter has a number of pages. To find
information simply open the appropriate volume and select a chapter.

at the top of each page to move between pages within the chapter.
This navigation bar also allows you to change to the next (or previous)
volumes and chapters and to go back to the library (the bookcase).

When
looking at the pages:
1. If the perfume name is in a coloured box, that means that a picture
(or pictures) is available. Click on the name to open a new window
containing the picture. Close the window to return to the encyclopedia.
2. The column that shows a year indicates when perfumes were launched.
If the date is in italics, the year of launch is approximate.

Some
of the information in the encyclopedia is summarised and
more data is available. Contact the author if you would like more
details about a particular topic.
